Out of consideration for other guests, we ask you to turn down the volume of your television or radio to a reasonable volume from 10 pm. Thank you!

Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire hotel! Smoking is permitted in front of the hotel entrance where you will also find an ashtray. If you choose to smoke on your balcony, please be considerate of your neighbours – especially those above you – and close your balcony door so that smoke does not enter your room. Please use the ashtray on your balcony. We urge guests in the Winter Garden rooms not to smoke with windows open, as the smoke will drift into the room and disturb the guests who have booked the room after you.

Yes, we have an underground garage with a limited number of parking spots. We will be happy to reserve a spot in our garage (please see current price list for daily rate). Please note: we can only reserve a spot with prior registration. The garage doors can be opened at any time from inside. The garage doors are opened at 8:00 am and closed at 4:30 pm.

We have a charging station for electric vehicles in the car park behind the hotel (fee applies).

Our reception is open from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm.

When you arrive, you will receive your very own guest card. With this card you receive a number of discounts for leisure facilities in Kleinwalsertal and in the Allgäu region, and it entitles you to free use of the Walserbus in Kleinwalsertal. In order to issue your guest card, we need your completed registration form or your online check-in. We kindly ask you to return your guest card to reception when you leave (€ 5 deposit).

As a partner of the OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN cable cars, guests of the Hotel Erlebach receive a Cable Cars Unlimited Ticket free of charge during a summer stay. This card gives you unlimited access to all cable cars. Discover the most beautiful mountain summits, breath-taking vistas and the feeling of freedom with the OBERSTDORF · KLEINWALSERTAL BERGBAHNEN – whenever and as often as you want! By the way, the Cable Cars Unlimited Ticket is also valid on the days you arrive and depart.

Our main entrance is also our night entrance that can be opened using your room key. The main entrance is open until 11:00 pm.

You will find free parking spots in the hotel car park in front of the hotel for your use during your stay.

Hotel Erlebach is situated just a 15-minute walk from the heart of the town of Riezlern in Vorarlberg, Austria. We boast a beautiful location with panoramic views in the Kleinwalsertal area. Riezlern is about 1 hour 15 minutes from Bregenz and 2 hours 20 minutes from Munich.

Please arrive at our spa reception or the waiting lounge area at least five minutes before your appointment so that your massage or treatment can begin on time. Out of respect for guests with appointments after yours, we ask for your understanding that if you arrive late, that time will be deducted from your treatment time.

Every guest will find a spa bag with cosy bathrobe and towels for the spa and pool areas in their room. For reasons of sustainability, we do not offer disposable slippers and therefore ask guests to bring their own pool shoes for the spa area.

You will get a 10% discount on treatments between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 pm (does not apply to special deals and packages).

Non-hotel guests are also welcome to book massages and spa treatments at Hotel Erlebach. For the duration of your time with us, we will provide a spa bag with a bathrobe and towel, as well as a locker for your clothes and valuables. However, the use of the wellness area with relaxation rooms, saunas and outdoor pool, as well as lunch snacks, coffee and cake are not included. You have the option of booking a day in the wellness area for € 65 per person.

We do not offer appointments for children under 14.

You are welcome to have your lunch snack and coffee and cake in your bathrobe in the bar area and the adjacent lobby. We want you to feel comfortable.

Appointments are available from Monday to Saturday between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.

Please undress down to your underwear for your appointment. During your massage, you will be covered by towels and blankets to keep you warm and give you privacy.

For our massages and spa treatments, we use high-quality products from Alpienne and Kurland.

You can cancel your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. For all short-notice cancellations, we charge 80% of the treatment price. In the case of booked spa packages, a cancelled appointment is considered as used.

Every day has a different highlight for you:

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer vegan cuisine or vegan board. However, we will be happy to suggest nearby hotels and restaurants with vegan options.

Our dinner menu always includes a vegetarian option. Please inform reception of any changes or special requests by 11:00 am.

Our kitchen team is happy to prepare meals especially for our youngest guests. Our children’s menu has kid-friendly favourites.

Our restaurant is not a public restaurant. However, if tables are available, we are happy to welcome non-hotel guests for dinner from 6:30 to 8:00 pm upon reservation! We have no à la carte menu, but rather a pre-set 5-course menu. Please book your table by calling +43 5517 51690.

No – if you have booked board, a table will be reserved for you automatically for breakfast and dinner. You can choose a seat in our lobby, bar or on the terrace in the afternoon.

The Erlebach breakfast buffet is open from 7:30 – 10:30 am in our restaurant.

Our restaurant is open to hotel guests from 7:30 to 10:30 am (breakfast) and 6:30 to 8:00 pm (dinner).

It is very important to us that you enjoy a carefree and worry-free stay at the Hotel Erlebach – no matter whether you have a food intolerance or food allergy, or you follow a gluten-free or lactose-free diet. Let us know what your needs are when you book your stay – we do our best to fulfil all wishes! However, we ask for your understanding that we charge an additional € 2 to € 5 per person per day for the alternative products and special dietary considerations.

Please inform us of any room request when booking so that we can note it and take it into account. Of course, we will always do our best to fulfil your wishes. The earlier you book, the better the chances are that we can reserve your preferred room for you.

Yes, our bed linen is allergy-friendly for a restful night’s sleep. If you are allergic to feather duvets, please let us know at the time you book your room. 

Of course! You can book a double room for single occupancy upon agreement and depending on availability for an additional charge (from € 40 per night, from 4 nights, category subject to availability).

Our suites with separate sleeping area are best for families. Our Romantic Double Rooms with pull-out couch are also suitable for families. Please register children when you book your room, as not all rooms can accommodate a cot. We also need the exact number of guests before your journey so we can book a suitable table for you in our restaurant.

All rooms and suites in our family-run hotel feature a bathroom with shower and WC, hand towels, bathrobe, bath towels, hairdryer, soap dispenser, shower gel/shampoo, and sustainable cosmetic box with sewing kit, file, cotton swabs and shower cap. Every room also features a balcony (exception: Winter Garden Double Room), a desk and chair, flat-screen TV and safe. All rooms enjoy fantastic views of the Kleinwalsertal mountains. Cancellation policy, summer 2024 (for bookings with arrival from 1 August 2024 – 10 November 2024)

• Written cancellation up to 30 days (instead of 3 months) before arrival date:
• Cancellation is free for you; 100% of deposits paid will be withheld and will be credited for a later stay with us at the Erlebach without deductions.
• A processing fee of € 40 will be charged for refunds of deposits.
• Rebooking to a later date within the respective season is free of charge; 100% of deposits paid remain valid, no fees are charged.
• Written cancellation 7-29 days before arrival date:
• We will charge 70% of the total price, plus a processing fee of € 40; this applies to cancellation or rescheduling.
• Written cancellation less than 7 days before arrival date, or late arrival, or early departure, or no-show:
• We will charge 90% of the total price, plus a processing fee of € 40; this applies to cancellation or rescheduling.

The following cancellation policy applies to bookings made over Christmas/New Year's Eve between 19 December and 2 January:

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing:

Cancellations made up to 3 months prior to arrival are free of charge.
Any deposits already paid will be credited in full towards your next stay or refunded to you upon request.
3 months to 1 month before arrival, we charge 40% of the total price.
1 month to 1 week before arrival, we charge 70% of the total price.
In the last week/less than 7 days before arrival, we charge 90% of the total price. This also applies to late arrivals or early departures, as well as to persons who do not arrive in the booked double room/suite.

We recommend travelling to us by car. Travelling to us with your own car will also make it easier to get around once you’re here.

The entrance area and reception (ground floor), bar area with adjoining lobby and restaurant (first floor) are barrier-free. The spa and wellness area on the 4th floor is accessible via lift. The Gehrenspitze, Hammerspitze, Comfort, Romantic and Winter Garden Double Rooms, as well as single rooms, are also barrier-free.

Our outdoor pool, suites and Alpine Style Double Rooms are not wheelchair accessible.

Muzzles have been compulsory in the cabins on the railway for several years.
As before, you can buy muzzles of different sizes at the ticket offices, but there has been a change in Austria since this year. According to Austrian law, the lighter nylon muzzles previously sold must be replaced by more compact plastic muzzles. These models will therefore be sold at checkouts in Austria in future. In Germany, the lighter nylon muzzles will continue to be sold. We would like to point out that the decision as to which muzzle the dog wears is ultimately the responsibility of the owner.

The muzzle obligation also applies on the Walserbus!

A weekly ticket for 1 dog at a time can be purchased for €8 at the ticket offices. The annual ticket is available for €40. The dog still receives a tag, which must be attached to the dog's collar and dated.

Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or in the entire wellness area, including the 25GipfelSpa and the light winter garden.

We have five rooms in which dogs are welcome: these rooms are in the Hammerspitze Double Room category (category 2) and the Gehrenspitze Double Room category (category 4). Please let us know at the time you book your stay if you would like to bring your dog with you.

• In Austria, we have a general lead and muzzle requirement for public spaces. This means that if your dog wears a muzzle outdoors, there is no lead requirement. A muzzle and a lead are mandatory on public transport such as the cable cars, chair lifts and the Walserbus. Leads are generally required in residential areas, shopping centres and all types of premises. Dogs are prohibited on playgrounds.

• Dog owners are obliged to clean up dog waste. There are plenty of dog waste bag stations found around the area, and you can also find a dog waste bag station next to the hotel grounds.
• Dogs on holiday in Austria must have an EU pet ID card, a valid rabies vaccination and a microchip with identification.

The price per dog per night is € 20. Please bring your own food and blanket or dog bed with you.

If you need more dog food during your stay, you will find a pet supply store in Sonthofen, around 21 km (30-minute drive) from the hotel.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or in the entire wellness area, including the 25GipfelSpa and the winter garden. Thank you for your understanding.

You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you to the lobby, bar and sun terrace.

The following room categories are available for dog owners:

Access to the rooms is via the garage with your room key. There is also a small dog station with towels.

We charge €20 per day for your four-legged friend, excluding food. Please bring your own dog blanket and dog basket.

Please ensure that your dog does not do its business on the lawns in front of the hotel. You will find a box with poo bags at the start of Kesselschwandweg, just to the left of the hotel.

The closest veterinary office is located in Oberstdorf, around 11 km (15-minute drive) from the hotel.

Yes, we offer late check-out until 5:00 pm upon request and subject to availability, and for a fee (€ 35 per person, includes lunch snack and use of the spa). Please inform us as early during your stay as possible if you’d like to check out late. We will do our best to fulfil your wishes!

If you plan on arriving after 8:00 pm, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance. If possible, please inform us of your planned arrival time when you book your room. Our reception is open until 8:30 pm and dinner is until 8:00 pm. We will do our best to fulfil your wishes!

If you arrive before 4:00 pm, or depart after 11:00 am, we will be happy to store your luggage at the hotel.

Yes, you can reach the hotel with public transport. Take the train to Oberstdorf (terminal station) and then continue by bus to the hotel. Find more information here.

• Check-in: Your room will be ready for you from 4:00 pm on the day of your arrival.
• Check-out: You can enjoy your room until 11:00 am on the day of your departure.

Early check-in from 8:30 am is subject to availability, and is available only on short notice and upon request for € 35 per person (includes lunch snack and use of the wellness area). If you want to arrive earlier, you can pick up your guest card from reception at any time. With this card, you can use the Walserbus and cable cars in summer for free. In winter, you can have your day’s ski pass booked onto the card so you can hit the slopes as soon as you arrive (subject to fee). If you would like to have breakfast with us on the day you arrive, please let our reception team know at least one day in advance and we will book breakfast for you for € 12 per person.

Please use our online check-in. You will receive the link with your booking confirmation a few days before your stay. If online check-in is not possible for you, we can also take your information when you arrive. We require an identification document upon arrival. According to the Austrian Registration Act, we must report your arrival to the responsible municipality within 24 hours – thank you for your understanding.
